On Tuesday, we joined in the International Omelette Challenge as part of Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. The participants in our challenge were from the newcomer cooking group (Regina Open Door Society) in partnership with the Early Years Family Centre at Scott Collegiate. Viva la revolucion! We are looking for a volunteer to distribute our Family Baskets at Four Directions Community Health Centre on Wed., June 1, Wed., June 8, Wed., June 15 and Wed., June 22 from 12:30-4:30 p.m. This opportunity requires the ability to lift approximately 30 pounds. Looking for Help...

We are looking for some folks to assist us with the planning of our 2nd Annual "Feed the City, Taste the World" lottery fundraiser. We need help with soliciting prizes and we also need help with coordinating tickets sales. (The hours of these two commitments can be flexible.)

Finally, we are looking for people who are interested in being a part of the coordinating committee to help plan the lottery. This committee involves a commitment of 2-3 hours per week starting ASAP for the next 6 months. After that, this committee would involve a commitment of a couple hours each month.

The Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region has rasied garden beds that they are offering to community organizations or individuals who are interested in planting a garden and taking care of it! The application is due May 2. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, click here.
